My Friends

My Home Best Friends

Kylie, Cassie, and Olivia have been my best friends for most of my life. I met Kylie (medium brown hair) when we were five years old, we lived two houses down from each other and it was just the two of us playing outside until the street likes came on until fifth grade, which was when we met Olivia (dark brown hair). We finished our group with Cassie (light blond hair) in seventh grade, and it’s been us four ever since. We would walk to Starbucks and Dunkin' from our neighborhood, play games at Olivia’s house, and have sleepovers every weekend. I have been so lucky to grow up with these ladies, and even though we have since spread apart, we always come back together when we can and will continue to do so.

My College Best Friends

My college best friends are Serena, Kayleigh, and Alexis. I met Serena (black dress in top right) early into our freshman year at JMU, whether it was taking night walks around campus, getting dinner at D-hall or listening to music on the Village bench swing, we were always together. Serena introduced Kayleigh (top left) and I in our junior year and the three of us have been the best of friends and always there for each other no matter what the situation, Kayleigh is one of the funniest and genuine people I know and have come to love her so much. Alexis (bottom left) has been my roommate for two years now and she makes our apartment a home with her home cooked meals, surprise Christmas decorating, and our late night talks. I will miss these ladies so much as we grow into our post-grad lives, but I know I can count on them and they will, one day, be standing next to me on my wedding day.

My Future Roomie

I met Sean freshman year at JMU, we have been through so much together and ultimately I know that home is wherever he is. He makes me feel safe and loved everyday, I truly do not know where I would be without him. Senior year has gone by in a blink of an eye and it has been hard at times, but Sean has been there for me in ways that I can't thank him enough for. As we are growing closer to our graduation date, it has been exciting to look forward to our life together and also to plan it. We just found out that we will be moving to Richmond, VA and are having a lot of fun looking at apartments and surrounding areas that we could visit.
